Located northeast of Vancouver, the Thompson Okanagan region is easily accessible by car via the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) and the Coquihalla (Hwy 5) from the Vancouver area, via Highway 97 from the United States and Northern BC, and via Highway 5 and the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) from Alberta. The region offers commercial bus access, while national airlines provide daily flights into airports in Penticton, Kelowna, and Kamloops. International flights also arrive into Kelowna.
